Clay Shirky: How cognitive surplus will change the world

While we're waiting for Kim to arrive back from her epic journey to Europe, her globe trotting sparked some of us to consider how our ability to use near-real-time tools like blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc might change the world. Journalists versus “citizen” journalists

A few months ago I was watching journalist George Stroumboulopoulos interview Hilary Clinton on his CBC show, The Hour. What a smart show. What a smart interview. The post-Olympic blues

I'm feeling the post Olympic blues...finally. I was in Vancouver today for work and being back on the streets of Vancouver with things relatively back to normal was, well, kind of depressing. It was a glorious day and Vancouver was again at it's peak in beauty, but where were the crowds? Where was all the Canada red? I saw some people in Canada jackets, but not one pair of red mittens in sight...made me kinda nostalgic for the vibe that was there just a few short weeks ago.
